AARON RAMSEY is so desperate to make an impact on the Premiership title race for Rangers, the midfielder has forked out money from his own pocket to get fit.
The Scottish Sun report that the Welshman, 31, has splashed out £30,000 in a bid to recover from a calf injury.
The dosh has been spent on physio appointments, with his own trusted specialists flown over to Scotland to provide treatment to him.
The report states that Rangers are aware of the one-to-one sessions, with the on-loan Juventus player picking up the bill.
The former Arsenal starlet has struggled since arriving at Ibrox on Deadline Day in the January transfer window.
He understandably arrived to much fanfare – but the Gers fans have hardly had a glimpse of Ramsey as of yet.
He’s missed the club’s last four games after picking up a knock in Rangers’ Europa League first-leg away win against Borussia Dortmund.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been told to be cautious and patient with the player’s recovery.
However, Ramsey is so determined to help the Ibrox club retain their Premiership crown in the fight with Celtic that he’s called upon his specialist physios that have helped him previously.
