Chris Sutton calls for ‘perspective’ as he brands Celtic vs Bodo/Glimt ‘good reminder’

CHRIS SUTTON has called for a bit of perspective in the aftermath of Celtic’s disappointing Europa Conference League loss to Bodo/Glimt.

Ange Postecoglou’s men were hoping to secure a lead going into next week’s return leg in Norway but find themselves with a mountain to climb.

Celtic go into the match on the back of a 3-1 loss at Parkhead as Hoops stars failed to impress in the play-off round first leg clash.

But Sutton has suggested some perspective is needed after the loss as he insisted Postecoglou’s side have “come a long way this season”.

However, he also branded the result a “good reminder” that there is much improvement ahead for the Celtic side.

Posting on Twitter, Sutton wrote: “Bodo/Glimt superb tonight and deserved the win. Well done to them.

“Celtic too many players not at the level and a disappointing display but maybe a bit of perspective needed.

“The team have come a long way this season. A good reminder that there is much work still to be done.”
